Sign in
You sign in with the email address your invitation was sent to. There is no password. The first time, you start with the link from your invitation.
The sign-in page

With Google and Microsoft, a window from the provider opens. Choose the account with the invited address there.
To change the page language, use the globe at the top right and choose DE or EN.
Sign in with an email code
- Enter your address in the Email field and choose Continue with email.
- Open the email with the sign-in code. The 6-digit code is also in the subject line.
- Enter the code in the Code field. After the sixth digit, CONTXT signs you in. You can also choose Sign in.
The code is valid for 5 minutes. After three wrong entries you need a new code. Then choose Send a new code. Use a different email takes you back to the address field.
If no code arrives
The page always reports that a code is on its way, even if none is sent. You only receive a code if the address already has access to an institution or if you opened the invitation link for this address in the same browser.
So check:
- Does the address match the invited address exactly?
- Is the email in your spam folder?
- Are you signing in for the first time? Then open the invitation link first and request the code there.
If "Too many requests" appears, wait a minute.
After signing in
Your institution's workspace opens. If you have access to several institutions, choose the one you want under Institutions.
If it says "No institutions yet", you are signed in, but this account has no access. Sign in with the invited address or ask for a new invitation.
Messages during sign-in

| "That account has no invitation to an institution." | You chose a different account. Sign in with the invited address or choose Sign out. |
| "That account needs to be recovered before it can sign in." | Your access was ended. Contact the person who looks after CONTXT at your institution. |
| "That code has expired." or "Too many tries with that code." | Choose Send a new code. |
| "Sign in did not complete." | Try again. |
Sign out
- At the bottom of the main navigation, choose your name.
- Choose Sign out.
If you work on a computer that others also use, always sign out when you finish.
