Search

Use the search at the top of the product menu to find your institution's records, for example objects, people, organizations and exhibitions. From there you can also open sections or create something new.

Find a record

  1. Open the search in the product menu or press ⌘ K (Mac) or Ctrl K (Windows).
  2. Enter a title, a name or an identifier you know.
  3. Choose the matching result. Check in the record that it is the right one.

Results are grouped by type of record. If there are very many, open the matching register and narrow the search there with filters.

Start a task

For example, enter "New object" and choose that result. This opens the entry form. The object is only created when you save.

Find a passage in a document

To read and compare sources, use the Assistant. Give it the file or its link and say what you are looking for, for example: "What does this PDF from the gallery say about the object's provenance?"

The search at the top of this handbook finds only guides, not your collection data.
